Sarah Ferguson’s lifestyle brand Ginger & Moss is £262,000 in debt and has been forced to cut its range to four products – but you can still buy a box of 80 tea bags for a staggering amount of £20.

Sarah Ferguson’s lifestyle brand is £262,000 in debt and has reduced its range to four products, including a box of 80 tea bags on sale for a staggering £20.
Ginger & Moss, the company set up to launch its online store The Duchess Collection, has stopped selling items such as £60 earrings, high-end bed linen and toiletries.
But that hasn’t helped the company return to profit, according to the latest accounts.

Products still on offer include shortbread, a brooch and children’s face masks with the slogan ‘Be Safe For Playtime’ priced at £12 each.
The Duchess of York set up Ginger & Moss two years ago as a ‘premium’ label which planned to sell luxury textiles, homewares and wallpaper in stores including Harrods and Selfridges.
Its Duchess collection was billed as the “accessible premium” range, including tea, china, preserves, jewelry, candles and fragrances.

She has also written a series of children’s books, which are advertised on her website.
A third branch, Fergie’s Farm, aimed to sell organic ready meals in supermarkets.
When she launched Ginger & Moss, the 62-year-old described herself as “one of the world’s most written about women” and a treasured brand “recognized around the world and loved on every continent”.
She has also written a series of children’s books, which are advertised on her website, a romance titled Her Heart For A Compass, and created a YouTube channel, Storytime With Fergie And Friends.
