Netflix reveals it’s finally getting serious about games
In an earnings call on Tuesday, Netflix announced massive plans for games on its service. Last week, Bloomberg reported that Netflix had hired former Oculus executive Mike Verdu to lead the company’s gaming effort. Netflix has confirmed the hiring of Verdu, but has not provided any additional details. We now know a bit more about how Netflix will handle games.
