Best Buy is rolling out its discounts early, but not everything on sale is a bargain — and there’s an overwhelming amount of stuff to sort through. To help you find the deals that are worth your money, I’ve rounded up the best products we’ve covered, many of which I’ve tested or reported on in my years of tech review in nearly every category, as well as those recommended by experts and our colleagues at The Verge and loved by celebrities.

In addition to deep tech discounts, Best Buy has kitchen deals, toy deals, and home deals, some starting today and many through Monday, November 28. Check back often for more great deals as Black Friday approaches, and don’t forget to sign up for our E-mail for even more sales coverage.

If you want a good pair of wireless earbuds to go with your Android phone, get Samsung’s Galaxy Buds 2, which Verge editor and reviewer Chris Welch said nail the basics in style. They feature a sleek, compact design, solid sound quality, and active noise cancellation.

Logitech’s portable and durable speakerphone (a Favorite of strategists) comes in a two-pack, so you can pair them together for a stereo experience without all the cables. They’re compact enough to take to a meeting, can float in water, and are waterproof enough to use in the shower.

As great as two-in-one computers like the Surface Pro are, they still can’t match the specs of a well-built gaming laptop when it’s time to game. Often a quality gaming laptop will set you back well over $1,000, but HP’s Victus with Intel’s i7 processor manages to squeeze a lot of torque into a relatively low budget package. Although Monica Chin, a reviewer for The Verge, said there are better laptops to be found for a little extra cash, it’s worth considering the Victus if you can snag it on sale.

A smart thermostat can help by letting you change the temperature with just a few clicks in your smart home app of choice or by quickly barking at your voice assistant. It can also program itself based on parameters you set and your daily schedule, so you don’t have to do too many manual tweaks if you don’t want to. Black Friday can be the perfect time to pick up a new TV if you find the right deal. LG’s C2 TV delivers excellent contrast and black levels along with fast performance, and Welch said this might be the best gaming TV you can buy, thanks to four HDMI ports that all support up to 120Hz refresh rate and nifty software that kicks in whenever the TV detects a connection to a game console.

Soundbars are a great remedy for confusing dialogue that’s hard to hear, even with the TV volume turned up. They are often expensive, however. Roku Streambar, one of our soundbar picks, provides decent sound quality while hitting a sub-$200 price tag, and that’s before discounts are factored in. Oh, and it doubles as a 4K streaming device too, so it’s one less thing to clutter up your TV cabinet or dresser with.

Most newer TVs let you stream directly without additional equipment, but that’s usually beneficial to hang a dedicated streamer In place. Google’s latest Chromecast comes in 1080p and 4K variants, both of which are affordable ways to give your TV access to any streaming service you want. I also think it’s one of best tech gifts to get this year.
